Jason’s Deli in Orem, Utah
771 University Pkwy
Orem, UT 84097
(801) 655-1150
If you’re looking for a Utah County restaurant with a huge selection specializing in sandwiches, wraps, and baked potatoes, chances are you should give Jason’s Deli in Orem, Utah a try. When we recently visited this delicatessen, located conveniently in the University Mall parking lot, we had a hard time making up our mind.
Unfortunately, when we finally ordered, half of us were less than excited about what we got. While this place has tons of options, beware: if you are iffy on onions, steer clear of the menu items that list them…because they are liberal with the onions!
Overall, this establishment was clean and kid-friendly, and we loved the California Club sandwich. However, when half of us go back and order something different, we just can’t give it all 5 stars. Let us know what you think of Jason’s Deli in Orem, Utah.

I have never eaten there but it sounds pretty good. I will have to go over there on date or something.

It could make a great date but I wouldn’t recommend it for a “romantic get away”. Just a fun place, nice for hanging out, but may be a bit loud if you’re in to a little “heart to heart” or, as they say in Utah County, the famous “DTR” (define the relationship)!
Let us know how it goes for you.

According to my wife, who is from Louisiana, Jason’s Deli has very good Po’ Boys. That’s what I get every time and they are great.
Plus, gotta love the free softserve!

It’s true, we forgot to mention – FREE SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM just for showing up and eating at Jason’s Deli!
When we go there next for a follow-up review, we’ll look in to the Po’ Boys (whatever those are).
Thanks for the comment!

I never thought I’d miss Utah County (except the friends I made there – like you and the other Prosperers). Certainly not the food though!
But wait, Davis County, has a dearth of good food options. Kaysville and surrounding areas have very little to choose from. So I miss that too.
I do like Jason’s Deli (we have one here). Why? I love having so many choices and it makes me want to come back again. I like salad bars and the soup was great. The sandwiches and deserts looked great too.
Maybe they were esp. liberal with onions that day?

Newspapergirl! Great to hear from you. We miss you too down in Happy Valley! I’m the onion hater and my order was loaded to the hilt with red onions. I liked the location, the selection and the quantity of food – I obviously ordered the wrong thing for my taste (although it was recommended by the person taking our order).
I also liked that it was pretty quick, although I wonder about that when it’s really busy.
Thanks for the comment! Come back soon to Utah Valley!

We’ll try the potatoes next time, especially since I’m originally from the land of “Famous Potatoes”. We’ll see if they meet my Idaho Criteria!
Thanks for the comment. Stay tune for coupons and specials!

I ate there for lunch just the other day. I had the salad bar and while it wasn’t huge I thought it had a good selection. Enjoyed it thoroughly and the sandwiches that I saw others eating looked really good too!

Thanks for the comment Lorin. I agree, the salad bar isn’t huge but there is a great selection.
