HIDDEN TREASURE: McBride’s Briar Patch in Mapleton Utah

If you’re looking for an excellent family activity in Utah County (and a healthy snack), McBride’s Briar Patch in Mapleton, Utah is definitely one of the “Hidden Treasures in Happy Valley”.

Our family has been going to this raspberry/blackberry patch for at least the last 4 years and it seems to be getting better and better… The owner will tell you that this year the blackberries haven’t been as plentiful as in years past, but the raspberries are “…great for pickin'” says owner Wayne McBride.

On Saturday we picked over EIGHT POUNDS of raspberries in about an hour and a half! It’s a great activity for a family and the kids get so excited to go “hunting for the best berries”.

This is a U-Pick raspberry and blackberry farm located at 1849 South 2100 West, in Mapleton, Utah. Come pick the freshest berries around for a fun activity the whole family can enjoy.
We charge $3 per pound for you to pick, or $5 per pound for us to pick an order for you or $28 for a 6 pound flat.

We are closed Thursdays and Sundays.

If you are coming from Springville on Highway 89, turn right on 1600 South in Mapleton, and turn left on 2100 West.

If you are coming from I-15 take exit 258 at Spanish Fork for US 6 toward Price, take a left on East Center Street, continue on 1430 East. Turn right on 400 North/UT 147 East, which will eventually change to 1600 South, Mapleton, then turn right on 2100 West in Mapleton. We’re the third farm on the right. You’ll see our beautiful flowers and signs.
